Interface is based on the modification of functional industrial components and fakeskin silicone molds. The silicone breaks the light as a structured diffusion layer within the open steel frame, creating a contrast between rigid edges and fluid light signature inside. Interface is a study of light, reduced to its essential elements: power, conduction, and transmission. When turned on, the flesh-toned interior shifts into a warm human like glow.
